The Warthog leather strop is the ideal knife sharpening tool that will provide you with the perfect, smooth finish to the edge of your favourite outdoor and bushcraft knives.

The 220 Leather strop is impregnated with a subtle polishing compound which will remove all of the microscopic burrs that are left on the edge of bladed tools after they have been manually or machine sharpened.

Why Use a Leather if Strop?

Using a leather strop on your knives is of course optional, but for those of you who require the best performance from your knives it is vital to strop them after honing with sharpening stones to acquire the perfect edge to your knife.

Stropping the blade not only improve the sharpness of the edge, but also helps the knife maintain the edge for longer as unwanted burrs can become loose and grind against the cutting face if not fully removed by a strop.
